Common challenges faced by ESL students

Having taught English as a Second Language (ESL) since 2005 in both part-time and full-time capacities, I have noticed that students face several different challenges in learning English. We will look at some of these struggles so that you can be a better student or teacher. Additionally, each subject below is available in another post as the information is quite extensive. Learning these challenges will prepare both the teacher and student to better adapt.
